Bupa -Physiotherapy Treatment in Hatfield – Bupa Members Physiotherapy – Osteopathy.

Bupa Members Physiotherapy Osteopathy The Welwyn and Hatfield Practice

Giving The Welwyn and Hatfield Practice Bupa members faster access to Physiotherapy treatment for muscle, joint or bone conditions

I am writing to let you know that from 1 February 2013, The Hatfield Practice (01707 888229) Bupa members with muscle, joint or bone conditions will be able to access Physiotherapy/Osteopathy –  Bupa funded treatment through a telephone assessment as an alternative to visiting their GP for a referral.  This will give patients faster access to treatment, increase choice and make it easier for them to see a Bupa recognised physiotherapist, osteopath close to where they live or work.

We are introducing this option because evidence indicates that it speeds up access to Physiotherapy, reduces workplace absence and increases patient satisfaction when compared to patients who have been referred to these services by their GP.*

From February 2013, when The Hatfield Practice- Bupa members with muscle, joint or bone conditions call Bupa to pre-authorise their treatment, they will be offered an in-depth telephone assessment in line with best practice and all relevant professional standards.

At the Hatfield Practice we only employ experienced therapists. Ongoing care required by Bupa members may include supporting them with Physiotherapy rehabilitation/ exercise classes to self-manage their condition. Our Physiotherapists and Osteopaths are  Bupa recognised health care specialists. The Welwyn and Hatfield Practice provides a warm personal professional environment. We have full time friendly reception to make you feel relaxed and at home. You ill be welcomed with a up of tea and modern clean facilities. All our Physiotherapists and Osteopaths are time served practitioners, they are trained to be considerate and will deal efficiently with your pain or condition.

We have over 20 years of experience as a business. Many of our patients come to us from Gp or friend / family referral. We always go the extra mile to meet our patients expectations.

  1. Being in my late 50’s I thought that the lack of mobility in my back was just another symptom of growing old(er). However Ian soon identified the muscular issues that were to root of the problem and after a number of sessions I am feeling a lot more mobile. Not quite the full Mick Jagger yet but getting there.
